It is a remnant of the ancient wall that surrounded the Jewish Temple\'s courtyard, and is one of the most sacred sites in Judaism outside of the Temple Mount itself. It has been a site for Jewish prayer and pilgrimage for centuries, the earliest source mentioning Jewish attachment to the site dating from the 4th century. Usually you can see the various types of Jews can be seen worshipping here. Place of Jesus\' Crucifixion After the Wailing wall we continue through the Arab Market to the Via Dolorosa, Jesus Way of Suffering which leads us to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Christian tradition Jesus was crucified and buried. The site is venerated as Golgotha, where Jesus was crucified, and is said to also contain the place where Jesus was buried (the sepulcher). The church has been an important Christian pilgrimage destination since at least the 4th century, as the purported site of the resurrection of Jesus. Today it also serves as the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, while control of the building is shared between several Christian churches and secular entities in complicated arrangements essentially unchanged for centuries. The New City of Jerusalem We drive to the New City of Jerusalem along the Israel Government area, taking a look , among others at the Knesset building used to house the Israel Parliament. After seeing the sights of Jerusalem and learning about it\'s amazing history, Lunch break at one of the local restaurants followed by some free time for souvenir shopping.Exit Old City by Jaffa Gate. Drive Back to Eilat we then cross the border back to Egypt and drive you back to your hotel in Sharm
